Our cutting-edge molecular and cellular pathology laboratory supports our centres of excellence in pathology, genetics and pharmacogenetics. Through its extensive test menu our team can perform immunoperoxidase, immunofluorescence and molecular testing, as well as extensive use of special stains to support the diagnosis of your patients. This also includes therapeutic and prognostic markers to further enhance patient care.
 
We provide immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays and in situ hybridization (ISH), in addition to a broad portfolio of gene-based assays and mutation testing, including KRAS.
 
The major techniques we use are gel-based and real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR), hybrid capture, reverse blot hybridization, chemiluminescent Southern Blot analysis, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH), peptide nucleic acid (PNA) FISH, and array-based comparative genomic hybridization (A-CGH).
