Ottawa, ON For any further information please contact our Customer Care at 800-565-5721 Collect two separate specimens: Red-top tube (no additive): Collect into a pre-warmed tube and maintain at 37oC during clotting. Once clot formation is complete, immediately centrifuge and aliquot the serum into appropriately labeled transport tubes. EDTA tube (purple-top): Collect into a pre-warmed tube and maintain at 37oC until centrifugation. Centrifuge within 1 hour of collection, then immediately aliquot plasma into appropriately labeled transport tubes. If these collection and handling requirements cannot be met, refer the patient to a Dynacare Laboratory and Health Services Centre for specimen collection.
Storage and Transport: Do not refrigerate. Ship at room temperature.
