Dynacare Announces Vito Ciciretto as new CEO

Brampton, Ont.: Dynacare, a Canadian health and wellness solutions company, has announced that, effective immediately, Vito Ciciretto will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of the organization. Since November 2018, Ciciretto has served as both Interim CEO and Vice-President of Operations for Dynacare and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision in these roles.

Having joined Dynacare as Vice-President of Laboratory Operations and Customer Service in 2009, Ciciretto has consistently demonstrated his ability to collaborate effectively, drive results and lead with clarity and vision. His many accomplishments since joining Dynacare include the Lab of the Future initiative, the implementation of Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology, and his continuous collaboration with the business development team to strengthen the overall patient and customer experience.

Previous to his roles at Dynacare, Ciciretto was the Chief Operating Officer at Algonquin Power Income Trust and held 15-years of management roles of increasing responsibility at Honeywell Aerospace.
 
Ciciretto earned a Master of Business Administration degree from York University and a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Ryerson University, is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and he also holds Certified Management Accountant and Program Management Professional designations.
 
In light of former CEO and Board Chair Naseem Somani’s unexpected passing, Harvey Shapiro will also be assuming the role of Chair of the Dynacare Board of Directors, bringing extensive experience and expertise to the position. Shapiro served as the CEO of Dynacare from 1997 to 2005, during which time the company experienced considerable success and growth. Shapiro also has 14 years of experience practicing corporate law and has developed and overseen the operation of a number of successful businesses, including several healthcare organizations.
