Convenient, accessible health and wellness services for Sudbury residents
Sudbury, ON – May 12, 2026: In the spirit of improving access to laboratory and occupational health testing services for residents in the Sudbury region, Dynacare will open a new Laboratory and Health Services Centre (LHSC) at 119-40 Elm St. This will be the first Dynacare location in the city.
Opening to the public Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the LHSC welcomes walk-in customers Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Customers can take advantage of Dynacare My Turn, an online check-in service that provides an estimated wait time countdown to reduce time on site. Free WiFi is also offered.
The new Sudbury location offers access to an extensive test menu with over 1,500 tests derived from blood and urine collection, ECG, glucose tolerance testing and more. Most results will be available to healthcare providers online within 24 hours from the time the sample was collected. A leader in specialized diagnostic testing, Dynacare also provides access to the Harmony™ non-invasive prenatal test.
The Centre also delivers trusted occupational health and testing services that help employers support workplace safety and employee wellbeing. With offerings that include testing for drug and alcohol, respiratory and hearing, and blood and urine, Dynacare provides accurate, timely, expertly delivered solutions supported by secure reporting and clinical rigour. These services are available Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and are by appointment only.
