At Dynacare, our vision is to be Canada’s health and wellness solutions leader. As part of our commitment and continuous effort to enhance testing quality we have reviewed and updated our urine culture testing and reporting process.
These changes are being implemented to improve operational efficiencies, overall testing quality, and to align with current literature and best practice recommendations for the processing of urine samples for culture and susceptibility testing.
As part of our commitment to continuous quality improvement, we have also reviewed all urine requests submitted since January 2020. Tips for optimizing requisition use for urine culture requests have been provided to improve the testing process.
