Helping to Keep Our Communities Safe – Dynacare COVID-19 Safety Protocols

At Dynacare, the health and safety of our customers, employees and communities is our top priority. And in keeping with our mission to support healthy lives with commitment and care, Dynacare has introduced important COVID-19 protocols to keep everyone safe.

These COVID-19 safety protocols include the following.

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection

While universal precautions in our labs and Laboratory and Health Services Centres (LHSCs) have always included disinfection, additional COVID-19 practices include:

  • Use of products that eliminate the COVID-19 virus in place of regular cleaning solutions
  • Disinfection of phlebotomy chairs after every customer
  • Disinfection of all high-touch surfaces and reception area chairs every two hours
  • Hand sanitizer stations at every Dynacare location

Customer Screening and Facial Covering Policy

All customers and employees are required to answer a set list of screening questions and wear a facial covering prior to entering a Dynacare facility.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

In addition to our requirement that customers wear facial coverings, Dynacare employees use complete PPE when serving customers. PPE is changed twice per day, and immediately if soiled. This reduces the risk of transmitting COVID-19 to or from Dynacare employees and between customers.

Digital Support Tools

Dynacare offers virtual Net Check In to reduce on-site wait time and help ensure safe physical distancing. Customers who have not checked in online, or who arrive early, may opt into a text notification system that allows them to wait offsite until it is their turn to be served.
