Helping to Keep Our Communities Safe – Dynacare COVID-19 Safety Protocols

At Dynacare, the health and safety of our customers, employees and communities is our top priority. And in keeping with our mission to support healthy lives with commitment and care, Dynacare has introduced important COVID-19 protocols to keep everyone safe.

These COVID-19 safety protocols include the following.

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection

While universal precautions in our labs and Laboratory and Health Services Centres (LHSCs) have always included disinfection, additional COVID-19 practices include:

  • Use of products that eliminate the COVID-19 virus in place of regular cleaning solutions
  • Disinfection of phlebotomy chairs after every customer
  • Disinfection of all high-touch surfaces and reception area chairs daily
  • Hand sanitizer stations at every Dynacare location

Facial Covering Policy

To keep everyone safe, customers are asked to please wear a mask covering the mouth, nose and chin.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Dynacare employees wear a face covering when serving customers. This reduces the risk of transmitting COVID-19 to or from Dynacare employees and among customers.

Virtual Appointment Support

To support both our customers and healthcare system, Dynacare offers a number of digital tools and services to support virtual appointments between healthcare providers and their patients. These include our digital requisition upload tool and virtual consultations for our COVID-19 antibody test.
