An insurance medical exam is similar to the annual physical checkup you get from your family doctor, but on a much simpler scale. Here’s what you can expect:
- The insurance exam usually takes 25 to 35 minutes to complete
- For most services, you will not be required to get undressed
- The Dynacare health professional will:
- Complete a health history questionnaire by asking you a series of questions about your health and your family medical history
- Measure and record your height, weight, blood pressure and pulse rate
- Ask you to provide a urine sample
- Obtain a blood sample using the same equipment that is used in standard medical laboratories (NOTE - fasting may be required)
- You will be asked to sign an authorization slip before providing your urine, blood and saliva samples
The cost of the exam will be covered by your insurance company.
