Vito joined Dynacare as Vice-President, Laboratory Operations and Customer Service in 2009 with extensive experience in general management, finance and operations. He was later named Vice-President, Operations in 2012 and appointed as CEO in April 2019. Vito started his career with Boeing Aerospace, and later moved on to spend the next chapter of his career at Allied Signal and Honeywell Aerospace in progressive operational and service roles, including Executive Program Director, General Manager and Controller. He went on to become Chief Operating Officer at Algonquin Power Income Fund – a publicly traded power and infrastructure company. Prior to joining Dynacare, Vito co-founded the TVN Group, a private investment firm. He graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Business Management degree and went on to complete his MBA at York University. Vito holds Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and Program Management Professional (PMP) designations.
Dr. Jenisa Naidoo
Chief Scientific Officer
Jenisa joined Dynacare as Medical Director / Director of Operations in 2009, and was appointed to her current role in 2018. She has also served as the Program Director for Laboratory Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba for over 15 years. Her medical expertise has also allowed her to help shape healthcare policy and advise on a number of provincial projects and initiatives as a medical advisor and provincial representative in Manitoba. Jenisa holds a medical degree from the University of Natal Medical School, and completed a postgraduate pathology specialist fellowship with the College of Medicine in South Africa. She is also a certified blackbelt in Lean Six Sigma, and received the LabCorp Chairman’s Award in 2012 and Women of Distinction Manitoba nomination in 2014.
Chief Information Officer / Vice-President, Information Technology Solutions and Services
Arun joined Dynacare in 2012 as Managing Director, Digital Solutions and Integration Services, and was appointed to his current role in March 2019. Prior to this, he held the position of Director, Application and Technology Services at LifeLabs, as well as several IT roles at Nightingale Informatix (now Telus), Manulife Financial and the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Arun holds an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology from Seneca College, as well as certificates from York University – Schulich School of Business.
Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Paolo joined Dynacare in 2017 bringing over 25 years of finance experience from technology, manufacturing and aerospace industries. Prior to joining Dynacare, Paolo spent the last seven years as Vice-President of Finance at Christie Digital Systems. Paolo was also previously the Vice-President of Finance and Operations at Brook Crompton Americas and held senior roles in both Finance and Business Development at Bombardier. Paolo is a CPA, CA and holds a Bachelor of Business Management Degree from Ryerson University and has held board positions at local not-for-profit organizations.
Vice-President, Legal and Chief Privacy Officer
Brad joined Dynacare in 2007 and was appointed to his current position in 2008 bringing with him extensive experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance and litigation roles across several industries. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2002 and began his legal career in private practice at a large boutique law firm in Toronto. Prior to joining Dynacare, Brad served as corporate counsel to Telus Communications, Royal Group Technologies Ltd. and Zurich Insurance Company. In addition to a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, Brad also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor.
Vice-President, Business Development, Client Services & Solutions
Brendon joined Dynacare in 2011 as Sales Director, Toxicology and Occupational Health, and since that time has taken on a number of important roles within the organization. In November 2019 he was appointed to his current role as Vice-President, Business Development, Client Services & Solutions. Prior to joining Dynacare, Brendon held the role of Senior Forensic Toxicologist at the Ontario Centre of Forensic Sciences, was Project Leader of Global Healthcare Practice at the Boston Consulting Group, and went on to become the Director of Clinical Programs at Cancer Care Ontario. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School (UK), as well as a Master of Science (Pharmacology & Toxicology) and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Queen’s University.
Vice-President, Human Resources, Communications and Public Relations
Donna Pascal has over 18 years of experience in Human Resources, the last 12 years serving as a Senior HR Executive.
Donna joined Dynacare in 2015 as a highly successful Human Resources executive. Prior to that, Donna served as Vice President Human Resources at Acklands-Grainger where she installed rigor and discipline around talent management programs. Donna was Vice-President of Human Resources at Staples North American Delivery, where she successfully executed and managed the post-merger integration of people, culture, total rewards and HR policy.
Donna possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario as well as professional certifications in Advanced Human Resource Management from the Rotman School of Business, and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Windsor Law, in addition to professional training in Executive Coaching. She holds the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation (formerly CHRP) from the Human Resources Professional Association.
Vice-President, Government Relations
Sebastien joined Dynacare in 2020 as Vice-President, Government Relations. Prior to joining Dynacare, Sebastien developed a recognized expertise in government affairs, health policy and market access through opportunities with Fortune 500 organizations including Merck, Sanofi Genzyme, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Baxter International Inc. He holds a baccalaureate degree in Science (B.Sc.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal, an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Paris-Dauphine and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialization in Innovation and technology from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
Tanya joined Dynacare in 2020 as Vice-President, Operations. Prior to joining Dynacare, Tanya gained front-line experience in Chemistry, Hematology and Histocompatibility (Transplant Lab) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at several academic hospitals across Ontario. As her interests expanded, she took on various leadership roles both in overseeing Laboratory Quality Management Systems and managing Chemistry, Immunology, Toxicology and Histocompatibility laboratories at Hamilton Health Sciences. Tanya later spent eight years as a Senior Leader at LifeLabs, with over four years focused on integrating CML and LifeLabs operations. Most recently, Tanya served as Vice-President, Operations at Canadian Orthodontic Partners (COP), where she was responsible for supporting the organization’s regional operational teams, partnering with their Doctor Leadership team to enhance quality and help improve patient care in our communities. Tanya holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Windsor, as well as a Health Diploma, Medical Laboratory Technologist from St. Clair College and a number of leadership certificates.
Vice-President, Logistics, Supply Chain and Facilities
Rafal joined Dynacare in 2019 as Associate Vice-President, Logistics and is currently the Vice-President of Logistics, Supply Chain and Facilities. Prior to joining Dynacare, Rafal worked at Purolator Courier as Director of Network Strategy, and prior to this served as Director of Transportation – Assets at Canada Bread Company. Rafal also spent a significant portion of his career in progressively senior roles at FedEx Canada, the last of which was in the capacity of Senior Manager, Toronto Hub Ramp Operations & National Strategy. He holds a Lean Management Six Sigma and Advanced Strategy certification in quality and productivity from the University of Toronto. He also holds a Professional Logistics designation, a Master of Business Administration from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts from York University.
Head, Dynacare Insurance Solutions
Gio joined Dynacare in 2021 as Head of Dynacare Insurance Solutions. Prior to joining the organization, Gio had accumulated more than 17 years of leadership and executive experience across various financial services segments. In particular, he held progressive leadership roles within large scale global financial services companies such as Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Sun Life Financial. Most recently, he held various executive roles at TD Bank Group prior to coming on board at Dynacare. Gio brings a diverse and extensive financial services background including operations management, client services, product management, banking & sales distribution across consumer lending, wealth and insurance segments. Gio holds a bachelor’s degree (BA) from Western University as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
