President and CEO
Naseem began her laboratory industry career in 1987 with Park-Med Laboratories where she served as Controller. Prior to this she worked for Deloitte, Haskins and Sells.
In 1991 Park-Med was acquired by Dynacare and Naseem was named Director of Finance. She later became Vice-President of Operations and General Manager of the Central Ontario Division. In 1996 she led the consolidation of the Dynacare Brampton Division with North Peel Laboratory, which created the largest laboratory of its kind in Ontario. Since becoming CEO in 2005, Naseem has led the Dynacare expansion into Quebec, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Naseem is a Chartered Accountant who holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance degree from the University of Toronto. She is also a past chair of the Ontario Association of Medical Laboratories (OAML) where she continues to serve as a Board Member and Director.
In 2001, Naseem was named Professional Woman of the Year by the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce an award which recognized the exceptional accomplishments and positive impact on she has had on her business, her community and society in general.
Daniela joined Dynacare as Chief Information Officer in 2014 bringing extensive leadership experience in information and business technology management to her role. Before joining Dynacare, she served in various executive positions at the Hospital for Sick Children including Director of Information Services and Vice-President/Chief Information Officer.
Prior to this, Daniela was head of the Computer Department at the County Hospital of Timisoara, Romania as well as Associate Professor in the Medical Informatics Department at the University of Medicine Timisoara. She holds a Master of Science with Honours degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Romania.
Daniela has also served as a member of the National Board of Directors of the CIO Association of Canada and as a member of the Professional Advisory Committee at the Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management, Ryerson University. In addition, for two years in succession, Daniela was named one of Canada’s Top 25 Women of Influence by the Women’s Executive Network.
Chief Information Officer
Brad joined Dynacare in 2007 and was appointed to his current position in 2008 bringing with him extensive experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance and litigation roles across several industries. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2002 and began his legal career in private practice at a large boutique law firm in Toronto. Prior to joining Dynacare, Brad served as corporate counsel to Telus Communications, Royal Group Technologies Ltd. and Zurich Insurance Company.
In addition to a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, Brad also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor.
Vice-President, Legal and Chief Privacy Officer
Vito joined Dynacare in 2009 bringing more than 20 years experience in general management, manufacturing and finance to his role. Prior to joining Dynacare, Vito was Chief Operating Officer of Algonquin Power Income Fund. He also served in various executive positions with Honeywell Aerospace over a 16 year period including Executive Program Director, General Manager of the Electronic Controls/Electric Power Division and Controller.
His academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Ryerson University and a Master of Business Administration degree from York University. Vito also holds a Certified Management Accounting designation with the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario and a Program Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Program Management Institute.
Vice-President, Marketing and Sales
Neil joined Dynacare in 2009 as Director of Marketing. He was appointed to his current position in 2011 bringing more than 16 years of strategic consulting, marketing and sales experience in the fields of life sciences and healthcare to his role. Prior to joining Dynacare, Neil served as Senior Manager in Deloitte Canada’s Life Sciences Practice, as well as holding senior consulting positions in New York and Sao Paulo, Brazil. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration from the William E. Simon Graduate School in Rochester, New York.
Joel Goodman, PhD, FCACB
Vice-President, Strategies and Innovation
Joel brings more than 30 years of clinical and business experience in the laboratory industry to his role as Vice-President of Strategies and Innovation at Dynacare. He studied with Nobel Laureate Sir Hans Krebs at Oxford University (UK) before obtaining his doctorate degree from the University of Toronto.
In 1976 Joel purchased Gamma Biopath Laboratory in partnership with the Silver family. He became President of Park-Med Laboratories in 1983 before purchasing both Park-Med and Lakeshore Laboratories, both of which were subsequently sold to Dynacare. In 1996 Joel was appointed Head of Clinical Operations with Dynacare. In 2001 he moved to Dallas, Texas to become Senior Vice-President, Scientific Affairs and Chief Science Officer with the Dynacare US operations. He returned to Canada and was appointed to his current position in 2003.
Joel is a past Chairperson of the Ontario Medical Association’s Advisory Panel on Laboratory Accreditation for the Quality Management Program – Laboratory Services (QMP-LS). Currently, he is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee of the Ontario Association of Medical Laboratories (OAML), a certified assessor with the OLA Program and Chair of the Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT) Quality of Care Committee for Cancer Care Ontario’s FOBT screening program. An active contributor to scientific and medical journals, Joel has authored or co-authored a number of published papers and articles.
In addition to his doctorate degree, Joel holds a Diploma in Clinical Chemistry from the University of Toronto, Certification with the Canadian Society of Clinical Chemists and is a Founding Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry.
Vice-President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Communications
Scott joined Dynacare in 2000 as Ontario Project Director bringing extensive experience in the public healthcare sector to his role. In 2005, he was appointed Associate Vice-President, Corporate Planning and Strategic Initiatives then became Vice-President and General Manager of the Central Ontario Division in 2006. He was appointed to his current role the following year.
Prior to joining Dynacare, Scott served as Administrative Director of Mount Sinai Hospital’s Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute and held several management positions at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto. Scott’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph as well as Master degrees in Business Administration and Health Science from the University of Toronto.
Donna Pascal has over 18 years of experience in Human Resources, the last 12 years serving as a Senior HR Executive.
Vice-President, Human Resources and Talent Management
Donna joined Dynacare in 2015 as a highly successful Human Resources executive. Prior to that, Donna served as Vice President Human Resources at Acklands-Grainger where she installed rigor and discipline around talent management programs. Donna was Vice-President of Human Resources at Staples North American Delivery, where she successfully executed and managed the post-merger integration of people, culture, total rewards and HR policy.
Donna possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario as well as professional certifications in Advanced Human Resource Management from the Rotman School of Business, and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Windsor Law, in addition to professional training in Executive Coaching. She holds the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation (formerly CHRP) from the Human Resources Professional Association.
