Perhaps best known for her dedication to her family, passion for healthcare technology and truly infectious laugh, Daniela Crivianu-Gaita was someone who enriched the lives of everyone around her with her unique combination of devotion, determination and kindness. More than a colleague, she was an inspiring leader, a driving force for innovation and a loyal friend to all who knew her. It is with great sadness that we announce her passing.
Chief Information Officer
Daniela only joined Dynacare as Chief Information Officer in 2014 yet quickly developed a reputation for throwing all of herself into everything she did. This included developing her team members to reach their full potential, being a true champion for the digitization of the business and embracing media opportunities as they arose. It was this characteristic level of dedication that earned her several well-deserved honours, including the 2015 Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader award, and being named one of Canada's Top 25 Women of Influence by the Women's Executive Network for two consecutive years.
Daniela's dedication also extended well beyond the workplace. An avid film lover and sports fan – particularly of Formula One car racing – she always made time to get out to the movies or catch the race on television. She also made good use of her daily commute time by listening to all her favourite music on the way to and from work. And, of course, Daniela was extremely dedicated to her family as the loving wife of Iosif. Recently, she was able to celebrate her son Victor's marriage to Tasha.
A true inspiration to those around her, Daniela's warmth, enthusiasm and friendship will truly be missed by everyone here at Dynacare.
